ANY ADDITIONAL EVALUATIONS ARE $150 each INCLUDING WRITE-UP TIME

At this point, I mainly work with children. I do love working with adults as well, so if you have any questions regarding adults don't hesitate to ask. I worked in every adult setting for 18 years. For adults especially adults who have medicare OT would be covered for them. Typically most other people have to pay out of pocket.

To do an evaluation and write up all of the paperwork takes me close to/sometimes more than 3 hours. It is very time-consuming. These assessments will help myself and whoever I will be seeing, including caregivers and loved ones a platform to begin coming up with a treatment plan that will evolve over time.

For handwriting, I do a series of 2 assessments, 1 with 3 subtests. The time with the person being tested is typically an hour, scoring the 2 separate assessments is each an hour, and then writing up is about 1 hour.

In a nutshell, OT is a holistic therapy that looks at the whole person and their quality of life. OT can begin in the NICU, babies, toddlers, special needs of every age, children through high school, adults, people that are in rehab for medical issues, mental health, pregnancy, bedridden for any reason, cancer, many surgeries, scar therapy, accidents, sports, recreational activities, as we age, contractures, strokes, dementia, end of life. All spans from birth to death.

I have worked in most situations, hospitals, at home, nursing homes, schools, clinics, group homes, and places of employment for ergonomics, and social skills.

OT is the occupation of living, enjoying life, getting the most out of your life and not letting obstacles get in your way!
